Funeral Arrangements

This glossary will help to communicate to Platinum Floral Designs, also to friends and family the floral arrangements you would like to order.

Casket Spray - A large floral arrangement/spray designed to cover a large portion of the casket 

                           Full Couch - A spray is designed to cover the casket that is fully closed

                           Half Couch -  A spray is designed to be placed on the lower portion of the lid on an open casket

Casket Lid Inset - A cluster of flowers placed inside the casket

Standing Spray/ Easel Display - An arrangement designed with a flat back to hang on an easel and placed beside the casket or urn.  Different shapes can be achieved ie. heart, cross, wreath

Pedestal Arrangement - A floral arrangement designed in a container meant to sit on a pedestal

Blooming Plants - A potted plant complimented by fresh flowers which can later be brought home as remembrance

Garland - A garland which can be placed around the urn on a table top, mantel or other surface

Vegetative Design - A design created around the urn to evoke a natural, earthly landscape

Arch - An arch of flowers designed to create a rainbow effect over the urn

Encircling - Utilizing a circular foam piece to create a circular floral arrangement around the urn

Keepsake Composite Arrangement - Using planted flowers and plants to create one large arrangement around the urn.  Later these plants can be pieced out to family and/or friends to take home 

Personalized Arrangements - Bring in momento's and we'll design arrangements which will include these special items.  You may wish to include a photograph, a loved one's hobbies, personal treasures or any special keepsake to include in the floral design.  Platinum Floral Designs will be happy to discuss different options
